Working with our strategic partners, Catwards is delighted to announce we now offer 3D printing.

Your models can now be turned into the real thing - just by clicking 'print'

Yes really - 3D printing!

• with physical models you can easily communicate your concepts & working solutions.
• 3D printing transforms a virtual CAD model into a physical part or assembly.
• think of a CAT scan, but in reverse. The printer builds the model up in layers of approximately 0.7mm thick in ABS plastic.

Prices on application & we offer a quick turnaround

We need your 3D CAD data as an STL to provide an accurate quote it is necessary to assess the 3D model file. The following will be taken into account:

• Volume - the amount of material that will be used
• Dimensions - height defines the length of build & therefore running costs
• Additional costs to be taken into account if there are problems with data supplied
• STL preparation - converting file formats, basic scaling & orientation
• STL fix - correction of bad files

...and now for the technical bit...

FDM (fused deposition modelling)

Using the Elite or U-print machines by Dimension we will turn your CAD file into an ABS part.
